The Teddy Counter Stool has a thin frame with a wide comfortable seat. The frame is made from solid white oak with a rounded white oak veneer backrest.

In regards to custom upholstery: The Teddy Series was designed to be easily re-upholstered. The seat can be easily unscrewed from the frame and re-upholstered by your local upholstery team or DIY with a favorite fabric or leather!

Please note, our wood pieces, handmade by skilled woodworkers using locally sourced raw materials, vary by nature. As these pieces are not factory made, variations are to be expected and are what make each piece unique. Our coatings and protective stains are made of organic natural ingredients. Underneath several protective coatings, we use the highest quality oils that bond with the wood, bringing you a piece that is unique to and celebrates the existing characteristics of the grain.

How do White Oak and Natural finishes differ?

The White Oak finish has a warm, honey-toned hue with a subtle brown undertone. The Natural finish is slightly lighter, with a touch of grey in the finish. The Natural finish is made from ash wood, which has a more linear grain pattern and the White Oak is true white oak wood with a standard grain.\n\nAdditionally, the boucle for the White Oak is white and the boucle for the Natural is off-white.\n\nTo help you make an informed decision, we offer samples for $5, which covers half of our material and shipping costs. How do I clean the boucle fabric?

Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth to absorb excess liquid. Avoid rubbing to prevent setting the stain into the fabric. Spot clean with a damp cloth or sponge using mild detergent and lukewarm water. Gently dab the stained area from the outside towards the center. Continue blotting until the stain is lifted. Rinse the cloth or sponge with clean water and blot again to remove soap residue. Avoid over-saturating the fabric, then air dry.\nFor ongoing maintenance, regularly vacuum or brush the fabric to remove dust and debris and keep it looking its best.

Is the boucle fabric stain resistant?

Our boucle fabric is made from 100% acrylic fibers, which means that it does not absorb liquids or spills in the same way that natural fibers do. While we always opt for natural materials for our furniture, we felt that this was the best decision for kitchen/dining chair upholstery.\n\nThese features make our boucle fabric a great long term choice for upholstery that may be exposed to spills or other types of liquid. Spills will run off the fabric but those that seep into it can be blotted away with a towel and some water if needed.

Will direct sunlight damage/fade this piece?

We recommend avoiding direct exposure to sunlight. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause fading and discoloration. As most of our pieces use solid wood, prolonged exposure can cause the wood to dry out.

    Exactly what I wanted ...

    I searched high and low for stools that fit my style. These are perfect. I wasn’t sure what the stools would look like in real life, but they look even better than I had imagined. The wood looks authentic and has a lovely light, warm tone, and beautiful grain. Perfect height for my countertop.

    GORGEOUS

    These are GORGEOUS counter stools. Extremely solid and well built; quality and craftsmanship are unmatched. One of the reasons we selected the Teddy Stool was the ability to recover the seat down the line. The wood frame is built to last a lifetime.
